Our group dog training classes are held at the Southeast Volusia Humane Society. These sessions are designed to offer you and your dog personalized training within a supportive and engaging group setting. Details: 1. Location: Classes are held at local shelters, including Edgewater Animal Shelter and Southeast Volusia Humane Society. 2. Frequency: The First Saturday of every month. 3. Reservations: Required and can be made online. Program Highlights: 1. Tailored Training in a Group Setting: While these sessions are group-based, our trainers ensure personalized attention to address each dog's specific needs. 2. Comprehensive Skill Development: Our classes cover everything from basic obedience commands (sit, stay, come) to more advanced behaviors like leash pulling, socialization, and advanced commands. 3. Convenient Locations: Classes are hosted at accessible animal shelters, making training easier for you while supporting these shelters. 4. Positive Impact on Shelter Dogs: By training at shelters, we help socialize shelter dogs, preparing them for their forever homes and improving their chances of adoption. 5. Cancellation Policy

Overview: This policy outlines expectations for participants attending group lessons at animal shelters. Our aim is to ensure a safe and effective training environment for all. 1. Eligibility - Advance registration is required for all participants. - Dogs must be up-to-date on vaccinations and in good health. 2. Reservations - Reservations can be made online. Confirm your attendance prior to the session. - Cancellations must be made at least 24 hours in advance. 3. Arrival and Check-In - Arrive 10-15 minutes early for check-in and to settle in. - Keep dogs leashed and under control at all times upon arrival. 4. Behavior Expectations - Dogs must demonstrate appropriate behavior. Aggressive or disruptive actions will not be tolerated. - Owners are responsible for managing their dogs during the session. 5. Training Focus - Each session will cover specific training topics based on attendee needs. - Communicate your training goals and challenges to the instructor. 6. Safety Protocols - Maintain safe distances between dogs to prevent conflicts. - Supervise your dog at all times and be ready to intervene if needed. 7. Equipment Requirements - Dogs must wear a standard leash and collar. Choke or prong collars are not permitted. - Bring treats and any training aids necessary for your dog’s learning. 8. Supportive Environment - Foster a positive atmosphere by supporting fellow participants. - Share experiences to enhance collaborative learning. 9. Photography and Media - Photos and videos for personal use are allowed. Approval is needed for media featuring shelter dogs. 10. Liability Waiver - By attending, participants acknowledge the risks involved in dog training. - Participants agree to release trainers and shelters from liability for any injuries or damages during lessons. 11.
